Colorado

Colorado was the first place I witnessed snowcapped mountains in person.

I had a moment, man.

With a good friend, I drove around the rockies in December and explored some of the trails that switchback skyward in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Below are the pictures I took during our last hike of the trip before heading back home. It was a beautifully sunny day and we had nowhere else to be. We took our time, hiked for miles and miles, and eventually, we watched the sun go down as massive elk strutted his way across a valley well below these peaks.

It’s experiences like these that make me voraciously hungry for more wild, for more time spent outdoors and with good friends.
